After a big break, I’m back again. Doing something different and changing cities. I have been involved with an e-book which will be released next week. More on that later.
I borrowed my daughter’s digital harinazumi and took some lovely photos which I’m posting for you to enjoy.

I recently read about a woman who had overcome a serious of illnesses. She sort a range of cures which included working with a shaman. As a result of her journey, she started an organisation called Girls on Top with the aim to conquer fears and inadequacies. She is now running a project to run a medical clinic in the Amazon in October next year. I think she is really inspiring. Her name is Jade Richardson and this is her story.

I have just returned from Tasmania (an island south of the mainland of Australia) and enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets as well as fantastic fresh fruit. We had plenty of raspberries, cherries, strawberries as well as apricots and nectarines. The weather was mild until the second week of January when everyone greeted the long lost summer.
The sunset here was taken from Low Head where we’d gone to see the Little Penguins. The sunset came gradually; every minute the colours changed until this glorious burst of orange.

I used to commute to work via train. The trip each way was around an hour 10 minutes. The most exciting part of the journey was 10 minutes along the Hawkesbury River. A window seat on this side of the train was the most sought after.
The excitement was to see a fish jumping out of the water, seemingly totally at random. And usually it was just one fish. As the train chugged along the river, my eyes would peel the surface of the water. Some days the water would be rough causing little splashes of water to which my eyes would go. Other days the water was smooth and glassy – perfect conditions for fish jumping.
This was the highlight of the train trip. Something I looked forward to. I even started to think of stories and of drawings about the jumping fish. That such a simple thing could be the source of enjoyment had me thinking about nature. It truly is a marvel but it is mostly taken for granted.
I was reminded of the marvel of nature as I sat enjoying a lovely sunset recently. The colours were subtle, gentle and peaceful. The joy of it! Here is a snapshot of my enjoyment.

The news is saturated with the financial crisis informing us about the stock market movements, about the collapse or possible collapse of other financial companies, and what governments are doing about it. We see stories of people losing their houses and of record numbers of people accessing charity services.
This news is causing us to worry. We worry about our jobs, our homes and about the future. Then worry develops into fear and we see everything with fear in our hearts. Fear, however, will not help us see things in a positive way. It will not help us at all. If anything, it will attract whatever we fear. Like attracts like.
We choose how we react to something. We can choose to see things or experiences, painful or not, in a positive way. We may even wish to consider the value of our experience.
Some tips to keep a positive outlook:
(1) Don’t watch the news or current events and don’t read the newspaper
(2) Appreciate the small things – a beautiful flower or tree, a smiling bus driver, a happy song
(3) Give of yourself – a helping hand, some kind words, a smile
(4) Reassess what you really want in life and what you really need
(5) Believe that what you choose in life, it will be there
(6) Replace any negative thoughts, actions, words, with positive ones
(7) Express gratitude for what you have

I attended the Women’s Network lunch and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The members are a diverse group of women either working for themselves in small businesses or for larger organisations.
As we arrived we mingled with others, looked at the display tables and had a welcome drink. We then moved into the dining room where each of us spoke for roughly 30 seconds on what we do. If you wished you could exchange business cards with someone you’d like to connect with.
I met some very interesting people, listened to an interesting speaker on her start to business and won myself a bottle of wine to top it off. Highly recommended.

There are some days where time ticks slowly as you complete a task you’ve done over and over. There are other days where time moves at lightening speed. I’ve had two of those days just recently.
One minute I realise I’m having a telephone interview, the next I’m agreeing to a very agreeable next step of signing to be part of this entrepreneurial organisation. At least it is very agreeable at the moment. Everyone that’s part of it, say it is and I believe them. I believe because I want to experience what they have and are experiencing. I want that too.
The new deal is that I become part of a personal development program. Learning it and selling it. Although I have yet to experience it, it has some of the essence of “The Secret” about it – I haven’t read this book. However, I know that it exposes some of what Ester and Jerry Hicks present in their books. I love their book “Ask and it is Given”. The concept is simple. This is what I like about the new deal – it is very very simple.
After trying to get somewhere with a number of other entrepreneurial deals, this is very simple. More on that later

I’ve been busy working on a terrific elearning site (yes, I’m biased). Still much work to do, but the first level is ready and the site has been launched. The site is called Spiritual Awareness Course – take a look to see what it is like.
The course is about developing your intuition which in the process develops your spirituality as well. We are seeing many people needing guidance and many, many people wanting to see psychics for guidance. The course creator Gail Love believes that developing your intuition and learning to trust it is the best thing anyone can do. Rather than seeking guidance from others, we need to learn to follow our own guidance – our own intuition.
The site uses membership software to control access to the learning content materials and these materials come in a variety of forms – flash, text, recordings. Members have access to the forums so they can ask questions about the content which for many can be challenging.
I can recommend the course – I did parts of it before Gail and I teamed up to put the course online. The way you see your life, what has happened to you and why may undergo a shake up when you do the course. This is because we rely upon authority, convention, history and logic to guide and inform us. What if we didn’t do that any longer?

I’m keeping a low profile until we’re ready to launch our course online. Much work to be done and little time for posting.
I doubt that the type of content we’re providing has ever been online in the variety of ways we’ll be doing it. The content is in the area of personal development, intuitive awareness and spirituality. After yum cha with friends today, I was advised to talk with IP specialists given the nature of the site to be.
Looking forward to launching around the end of July. By which time we’ll have a special running giving people a chance to sign up for three months but paying for one.
Keep you posted
